Take Me There

The question raised by most HSE aspirants

I have already completed NEBOSH IGC and I am planning for NEBOSH international diploma. Will it be helping me for attaining more salary or better HSE postion in a gulf country?

What we have come to note about jobs and salary is that one will need to build a network of colleagues and friends, who are in the same professional field to land jobs with good salaries. There are cases where people got good jobs as a result of their network, but not because of their qualifications.

We will advise that before you go for a diploma, attain certain certificates on skills required in the field of HSE. For example, ISO courses for auditing, standards, and systems; HAZOP, HAZPOWER, HAZID, TapRooT, Kelvin TOP-SET etc., with this skills employers would find it hard to resist you.

However, you can still do your NEBOSH Diploma. It gives you an edge and places you on a certain level in the safety, but your success in landing a job with a good salary isn't necessarily to be tied to a NEBOSH diploma certification.

You should look for ways to boost your network of professional colleagues and friends, attain certification on needed industrial skill and always stay positive
